Ridgeway Primary Academy has a unique location with our visitor, pupil and parent entrance in a very different location to where our staff enter the building. We welcome everyone to Ridgeway, but ask you to respect the access arrangements we have in place.  

Visitors, pupils and parents should use the main gates on Lynwood Way. There are several parking bays along the main street and some limited off street parking. We kindly ask that parents and visitors park in designated parking bays only and respect our neighbours by leaving driveways free from parked cars.

Outside the main gates we have yellow ‘zig zag’ lines painted on the road. We kindly ask parents and visitors not to park on these lines, even if it is just to drop someone off. The lines are there for the safety of Ridgeway children and protect the view along the road at safe crossing points.

There is a school car park located on Park Avenue. We share this car park with Ridgeway Children’s Centre. Spaces are clearly marked CC for the Children’s Centre and disabled bays are also available. It should be noted that visitors who park here will not be able to access the school building or grounds, and will still have to use the entrance on Lynwood Way.

Please can parents not use the school car park.
